A moment in time - spotlight

Woosh! We all ran into our cabins to get ready for a super amazing game of spotlight but we were quite annoyed because we had to wait for a shower and because we were in room eight we had to wait for lots of rooms to have a shower and there were only 4 girl showers. Finely our Howell cabin had a shower and we were all ready to play.

Finally, it was 9.00pm the thing I’ve been waiting forever since I got to camp...spotlight. When I heard that we had to be in a team me Alessa and Charlotte were going to be a team then they told us the rules because we weren't going to play the normal version of spotlight we played were all the teachers and parents were in and if you got spotted then you would have to go back to the start. Your main goal was to ring We had to start on the curve on the long driveway near the entrance.

When we heard that we could run we ran up the left side on a long but thin patch of grass but we got court trying to hide behind a car so we went back to the start. We ran up the same way and we got court trying to hide behind a big tree so we went back but this time we ran up the right side of the road on this big path and it had some long grass on it. We started to run the path and whenever we sour a light coming our way we hid agents the long grass. Because we went up this path we've gone much further than before but a teacher got us out because we were in the bushes and we kept on breaking the branches underneath our feet. As soon as we got back to the beginning I heard the bell ring so someone had won so we had to go back up to the meeting point.

For the second round, ten kids were in so the teachers and parents weren't playing and one of the ten kids were Alessa so it was just me and Charlotte trying to ring the bell with other teams. This time when we heard that we could go the second time I and Charlotte waited until the coast was clear then we went up the same path as before and we got out trying to hide against the long grass so we went back to the start. This time we got really far that I could see the bell through the bushes and then all of a sudden I heard the bell ring so someone had won

At the end of spotlight, I was sad and tired because it was 9:50 p.m. and because spotlight had finished but I also had lots of fun trying to hide in the dark and playing my first game of spotlight.

cross country

This term we have been practising for are cross country that is next week. We have practised at lest five times. The run that we are going to do is 1 and 3/4  .Tomorrow  we are going down to madills farm so we know the course and I'm super duper exited!!!

the blog-est end of term blog

Sadly the term has drifted away but I am still excited about the holidays and next term. during the term we have been learning all kinds of stuff like passion project's, art, and Meany more kinds of things but it would take to long to write/say. two of my favourite things that have happened this term  is... making edible star burst slime and learning how to use oil and chalk pastilles. there have been many twists and terns this term like adding evidence to School Talk but we've had an amazing teacher called Mrs Hensman and she will help us threw the way.

This term for reading I read wonder. Wonder is about this boy called August he some thing wrong with him. Before school started august had to go to school to meet Mr. Tushman which was the Principal of his school. August also met Charlotte, Jack and Julian but Mr. Tushman told Charlotte, Jack and Julian to be August his friend so he won't have any friend's. but later on in the year on Halloween Julian said "if I was August I would kill my self and I would Neva forgive my self".  mean about August when August was rite there but Julian did not know that August was right there because he was not wearing the custom that he said he was going to were because he did not want to were it.

THIS TERM FOR ART I DID THIS THING WHERE YOU HAVE TO FOLD A SQUARE AND MAKE 16 TINY SQUARES AND THEN YOU HAVE TO UNFOLD IT TO MAKE 16 TINY SQUARES THEN YOU HAVE TO WRITE THE LETTERS THAT ARE IN YOUR NAME IN SOME OF THE BOXES BOT THE OTHER BOXES YOU CAN ADD ANYTHING THAT YOU LIKE . THEN YOU HAVE TO DRAW STUFF THAT YOU LIKE THEN YOU HAVE TO COLOUR IN ALL OF THE SQUARES.

Leporids

Introduction

Leporids are the family of rabbits and hares, containing over 60 species of extinct mammals in all.  The Latin word for Leporids is those that resemble Lepus which means hare. Leporidae can get bored when they live on there one without a human or anther Leporidae. A Leporidae predator is a raccoon, lion, snakes and an eagle. A Leporids can live for 7 - 10 years. 

Diet

Leporids enjoy fresh fruits and vegetables. Leporids can't eat apple seeds, onion, tomato, macadamia nut, tomato plant, and rhubarb leaves. Banana peels are very safe for Leporids it is very unsafe to give a slice of banana to a Leporids. 

Habitat

Leporids live in big burrows under the ground where it is dark. Because Leporids are very furry it helps them in the coldness. Leporids have very small tails that stick out a little bit even to their tails are very fluffy it is still very hard. You can find White Leporids in the Arctic. Leporids have very small wickers that stick out a little bit.



Interesting facts 
there length 20 cm to 50 cm.   
there weight 0.4 to 2 kg.
Their ears are 10 cm (4 in).
They have 28 teeth with 6 incisors (4 on top and 2 on bottom).
they can live for 4 to 20 years.

passion projects

This term for passion projects I chose to do sketching. I was put in a group with some of my friends which are Odesa and Icey.

 My first sketch was a Pegasus with a horn and I did shading. My second   was a cone with cross hatching. My last sketch was a gold fish with line drawing. 

Odesas first sketch was Harley Quin. her second sketch was a circle was a with cross-hatching with 3D shapes and her last sketch was a golden retriever. 

Ices first sketch was a cube with cross-hatching with 3D shapes and her last sketch was a dog with line drawing. 

And it all ended out grate in the end!!!
